The Mombasa mission is our second mission of 2019 commencing 27 June and the team is currently busy in the preparation phase of mission.
Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya with a population of two million people. AE aims to reach this city over a three year period of missions.
The city of Mombasa in Kenya is a difficult place to share the Gospel. Mombasa has been regarded as the centre of Islam in Kenya, with 41% of the population identifying as Muslim. It is more accessible by the coast as well as by land, and therefore a more frequent target for neighbouring militants.
In the face of these hard realities, our mission volunteers and churches are excited to partner with AE and bring the Gospel with no reservations to Mombasa!
